In the summer of ‘68, while stalking woodchuck in the West Virginia wilds, a teenage Jennings Frederick would come face-to-gargantuan-green-face with a bizarre, blood craving, botanical behemoth who he dubbed the “Vegetable Man.” Though this incredible incident was just the latest in a series of a puzzling paranormal episodes that plagued this young hunter, it would be the one that would—with the help of infamous author and ufologist Gray Barker—forever ever etch Frederick’s name in the hallowed halls of Forteana.
