In the autum of 1877, a riverboat Captain and his crew were hauling a group of coal barges down the muddy waters of the the mighty Mississippi when they had a terrifying clash with a gargantuan, dog-faced, spear-beaked monstrosity that seemed to have crawled off a canvas by Heironymous Bosch in order to torment these seasoned rivermen.
